Duties
- Evaluate products against NEC and UL/CSA standards
- Perform testing and troubleshooting of power conversion equipment prior to shipment
- Conduct testing using measuring instruments and computer-based test programs
- Document and report test results accurately
- Read and interpret test procedures, wiring diagrams, and electrical/mechanical blueprints
- Install, diagnose, service, and repair electrical equipment prior to shipment
- Configure and connect system equipment (switchgear, SCCT cabinets, power ties)
- Inspect equipment during operating cycles and correct non-conforming issues
- Replace defective components and perform necessary fixes to ensure shipment readiness
- Collaborate with Test and Manufacturing Engineers on test equipment and work instruction development

Skills
- Basic computer skills; working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
- Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
- Experience with hypot testers, multimeters, wave and power analyzers, and oscilloscopes
- Ability to read and interpret electrical and mechanical blueprints
Education
- Associate’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering OR
- Equivalent training from a two-year technical school (electrical emphasis) OR
- Combined education and experience equivalent to two years
